Einsetzen in die PQ-Formel liefert

$x_{1,2}=-\frac{-0.1}{2} \pm \sqrt{\left(\frac{-0.1}2\right)^2-(-0.12)}$

Nach Möglichkeit $-\frac{p}{2}$ vereinfachen, Quadrat in der Wurzel ausrechnen

$x_{1,2}=0.05 \pm \sqrt{0.0025-(-0.12)}$

Wert in der Wurzel ausrechnen

$x_{1,2}=0.05\pm \sqrt{0.1225}$

Wurzel ziehen

$x_{1,2}=0.05\pm 0.35$
